Fall is on my needles.
During this time of the year, I can finally cast on all the things that I wanted to start for months, without feeling too guilty.
And that's it, with a snap of your fingers, another month is gone. Even though Summer is still here, I can definitely feel that Autumn is not far behind. And when I look back at the pictures that I took this month, most of them feature this brownish tonal color that is very specific to the Fall!

I honestly never thought that I would be crocheting one day. The only time that I really hold a crochet hook is when I need to chain stitches for a provisional cast-on. The hook compared to the knitting needles doesn't feel natural/right in my hand. I usually awkwardly chain one loop very tightly, and then chain a second one way too loosely, and end up with a "chain" of uneven loops that are then picked up very difficultly.

June has been another great lonth this year. The weather has been amazing, and a lot of time has been spent outside in the nature. I visited the Latvian ethnographic museum for the first time this year, and it's always such a pleasure to go back to that place, and explore every single wooden house, as if it was the first time. I'd love to have a knitting retreat there.
