The Cosy Lopi Sweater is the perfect quick-knit for those who want to wrap themselves in warmth and comfort in just a few days.
Knit using 10mm needles and 4 strands of Plötulopi, this oversized beauty is a breeze to make, and you’ll have it off your needles in no time!
Knit flat (so no purling required), the Cosy Lopi is an even faster knit—but if you prefer, you can easily choose to knit some parts in the round.
The pattern is available in 9 sizes, accommodating a wide range of chest measurements, and it’s worked top-down, so you can try it on as you go for the perfect fit.
The silhouette is incredibly flattering: the cropped design pairs beautifully with high-waisted garments, while the fitted bust gives way to billowing, generous sleeves that add a touch of whimsy and femininity.
This sweater is another addition to my “rustic feminine” pattern catalogue —a versatile piece that perfectly suits any occasion, whether you’re foraging for mushrooms, planting seeds, stacking wood, or just relaxing with knitting by the fire.
Cosy, practical, and full of character—this sweater will be a staple in your wardrobe all season long!
(I’ve been wearing mine religiously since I finished it last Fall so before taking these pictures, I needed to bring out my comb, and give it a little refreshment!).
